lithography technology for the semiconductor
industry. Based in
Santa Clara,
California, this
start-up is focused on EBDW. Multibeam
achieves high-throughput with its innovative
all-electrostatic column design and
multi-column architecture.
ABOUT THE JOB
Multibeam Corporation is seeking a senior
firmware engineer with proven experience in
developing Linux image user interface
application. You will be part of a key team
in developing a new electron beam column
control of a complex project in electron
beam lithography. This position is best
suited for an experienced firmware engineer
with in-depth
knowledge of image acquisition, real-time
operating system and embedded system.

RESPONSIBILITIES
-
Developing imaging firmware for hardware
bring up and collection of image data
from back-scattered electrons.
-
Developing Linux image user interface
application.
-
This imaging application will be
integrated with host column controller
later on so that the image can be viewed
on the host computer.
EDUCATION AND
EXPERIENCE
-
BS Degree in Computer Science or
Electrical or an advanced degree is
preferred
-
Experienced with GNU C/C++ project and
GNU tool chain
-
Minimum 10 years experience at image
acquisition design
-
Very knowledgeable at image acquisition,
real-time operating system and embedded
system. The
scope of work includes acquisition
firmware, real-time software, network,
and image application development. Will
work with hardware engineering to bring
up and trouble-shoot image electronics.

Familiar with Linux environment and
embedded real-time operating system
(RTOS)

Experienced in multi-threading,
client/server, network protocol and
socket programming
-
Experienced in firmware/driver
development and hardware bring-up
-
Excellent reasoning and problem-solving
-
Good knowledge of systems and hardware
